Step into The Jewel Café for delicious, nutritious meals that you can feel good about on Historic Fourth Avenue. This vibrant café, founded by Tucson native Jewels and her business partner Suzanne, is all about fresh, locally sourced ingredients and a lively community spirit.

Located in a nearly century-old building, The Jewel Café is steeped in history and charm. Jewels and Suzanne worked in this very spot when it was host to Tucson’s

beloved Chocolate Iguana. This is where they grew their love for the café business and being baristas.

The Jewel Café is proud to serve handcrafted drinks made using its high-end La Marzocco Espresso Machine, as well as an array of local and house-made pastries. Thanks to over 15 local vendors, farmers’ markets, and small grocers like the Co-op, the duo delivers the freshest ingredients Tucson has to offer, using organic fruits and vegetables, free-range meats, and dairy.

Whether you’re savoring the Braised Beets and Goat Cheese Salad with hibiscus vinaigrette made from Queen Savichea syrup and topped with Wagyu Steak sourced ethically from White Barn Beef, enjoying local vendors Santa Cosecha Black Garlic super food and avocado toast served on gluten-free bread from Dedicated Gluten Free Bakery, topped with heirloom tomatoes and locally grown sprouts, or choosing a tasty bagel sandwich, you can believe every bite bursts with flavor from Tucson.

The drink menu is just as exciting as its food. Each beverage is a handcrafted experience designed to delight your senses. Many drinks are inspired by the pair’s time as baristas at the Chocolate Iguana, blending artisanal craftsmanship with tried-and-true favorites. Whether you’re craving a unique cold pressed juice or a classic espresso, The Jewel Café has something to tantalize your taste buds.

But The Jewel Café is more than just a place to eat—it’s a community hub where local artists can showcase their artwork. Many will recognize the works by the well-known Tucson muralist Ignacio Garcia, which includes a three-dimensional mural by him and his student Ali. These rotating art shows enhance the vibrant, friendly atmosphere filled with Tucson’s finest flavors and artistic expressions.
